NAS Freeze Formed ™ Feline Urinary Health Bites

Our Health Bites are made using whole-prey ingredients and a freeze-formed manufacturing process. Because they are not extruded into perfectly uniform shapes, some natural variation in size and appearance is expected. This does not affect product quality, safety or efficacy.

We do not use any gums, starches or artificial binders therefore some crumb is normal due to the natural texture of the product and handling during transport. The crumb contains the same ingredients as the larger pieces and can be sprinkled over food.

Natural variation in raw materials can result in slight colour differences between batches and pieces. This is expected and does not affect quality.

Health Bites are made from real freeze-formed whole-food ingredients, including finely ground non-weight-bearing bones that naturally contribute minerals such as calcium and phosphorus. As part of our manufacturing process, all ingredients are ground through a 3 mm plate prior to production. This means small bone fragments may occasionally be visible within the finished product. Because the Skin & Coat Health Bites are naturally green from spirulina, these fragments can sometimes appear more noticeable than in other varieties. Small visible bone particles are an expected characteristic of a minimally processed whole-food product. If you ever find a fragment that appears unusually large or inconsistent with the product, please contact our customer care team and retain the product for review.

Some ingredients naturally contain connective tissue or tendon material. These may appear as fibrous strands and are a normal part of whole-food ingredients.

Yes. Health Bites can be used alongside NAS oils and other supplements as part of a broader wellness plan. Health Bites were developed for pets that may be reluctant to take traditional supplements, tablets or chews, while still providing meaningful levels of functional ingredients in a clean, minimally processed treat format. They have also been formulated to complement the NAS supplement range. While Health Bites provide targeted nutritional support, oils and powders will generally deliver higher levels of active ingredients due to the greater inclusion rates possible in a supplement format. Many pet parents choose to use Health Bites as an easy daily wellness reward alongside NAS supplements for additional support.

Follow the feeding guide on the pack based on your pet's body weight. Health Bites are designed to be fed daily as part of a complete and balanced diet. As a general guide, treats and supplements should make up no more than approximately 10% of your pet's daily food intake, with the remainder coming from their regular balanced diet. If feeding multiple treats, supplements, chews or food toppers, you may wish to adjust quantities accordingly. Yes. Health Bites can be fed to kittens as part of a complete and balanced diet. The range is designed to provide nutritional support in a highly palatable treat format and may be used alongside a suitable growth diet. Feeding should be adjusted according to the animal's age, size and daily food intake, and treats should form only a small proportion of the overall diet.
