Vaccinations

definition:
Injection of a killed microbe in order to stimulate the immune system against the microbe, thereby preventing disease. Vaccinations, or immunizations, work by stimulating the immune system, the natural disease-fighting system of the body.

Note:
Yearly vaccinations last a minimum of 3 years and up to 10 years for our pets. It is not advisable to vaccinate your pets yearly. Infact it is quite harmful and unneccessary. If you are worried about whether or not your pet is vaccinated spend your money on a titer test rather than a vaccination. This test will check the level of antibodies in your pets blood and tell you if your pet remains immunized. If so your vet should sign your vaccination certificate as your pet is still covered.
