definition:
Foul odor from your cat or dogs mouth.
etiology:
Caused by either tooth decay or undigested food in the stomach.
Presentation
Tooth decay: Build up of tartar on the teeth and gums causing a foul smell to eminate from the mouth. Recommed feeding bones to naturally clean off decay.
Digestive Odour: Usually caused by processed and canned pet foods. Food remains in the stomach for longer than it should due to the indegestiblity of commercial food. This creates a foul odour which passes back up the oesophogus and through the mouth. This gives the impression that the breath is smelly, in actual fact it is the stomach.
